While studying at the sixth form, Lucy gained hands-on experience and undertook a month-long placement at her previous school, Manor Community Academy.
She said:
“I’ve had so many opportunities to gain practical experience while studying my course. I’ve developed my skills by going on placement and working in schools coaching sports, which has been great.
“What I’ve loved most about my time at Hartlepool Sixth Form is all of the opportunities presented to me. I’ve been able to study and play sport together without feeling pressured. It’s been a good balance of both.”
