This qualification is designed to enable you the greatest flexibility, allowing you to achieve the level of qualification most suitable for your needs and relevant to you in your role, or to meet your goals. There are no mandatory modules, you can choose from a series of modules to suit your learning needs.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Studying via distance learning means you can choose when and where you study. We ensure you get all the support you need throughout your course in the form of a personal tutor and a learner support advisor.

You will be required to complete a minimum of 90 hours of study to complete the qualification.
This course will give you the knowledge and skills that employers are looking for at a basic level for IT users. The course is very flexible to your own needs as you can complete a suite of modules that give you the addtional skills where you need them.
To achieve the Level 1 Award you should successfully complete nine credits
from a range of modules including:
Computerised Accounting Software
IT Communication Fundamentals
Using Collaborative Technologies
Data Management Software
Desktop Publishing Software
Drawing and Planning Software
You can also choose from a range of specialist modules around word
processing, video software, website software, spreadsheets and IT
