What’s it all about?

The Level 1 Award in Awareness of Substance Misuse enables you to develop knowledge and understanding of substance misuse and its potential effects on individuals and others. It is aimed at learners in school or college as part of their personal and social development, and at those employed in sectors where a general understanding of substance misuse will support their job role.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Studying via distance learning means you can choose when and where you study. We ensure you get all the support you need throughout your course in the form of a personal tutor and a learner support advisor.

This course is fully online

You will be required to undertake a minimum of 20 study hours to complete this qualification.

This qualification enables you to develop a knowledge and understanding of substance misuse awareness - including alcohol - and its potential effects on individuals and others.
