What’s it all about?

A career in health and social care can give you the chance to make a real difference to people’s lives. The sector includes a wide range of roles, with different skills required and varying levels of demand.

The BTEC Level 2 in Health and Social Care can help you take your first steps towards a career in the care sector. You’ll learn essential skills such as understanding people’s rights and needs, working with individuals, families and carers, and providing therapeutic activities.

You will need GCSE English and Maths at grade 3 or above.

English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
